If you r exclusively breastfeeding, you can feed on your baby's demand. But estimation is about 8 and up to 12 times per day, depend on your baby's intake each time. If baby started to be fussy and crying, just feed to calm him/her down. Also be careful , if your baby developed sign of overfeeding such as spitting up, vomiting, you might need to consider cut down your amount of feed or frequency of feed.

Hi, if you are breastfeeding your newborn baby, generally feed every 1½ to 3 hour, which is 8 to 12 times daily. If your baby is not waking up for a feeding, it is not necessary to wake him up unless he start to cry.
